Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 20, 2026

1. Who this policy covers

This policy describes the privacy practices of Peptide Scientists ("we," "us," "our"), which operates peptidescientists.com. The site is a buying guide and editorial resource for research-grade peptides. It does not sell products directly — all purchases are completed on our partner supplier's website, governed by that supplier's own privacy policy.

This policy applies only to activity on peptidescientists.com. Once you leave our site via an outbound link, the destination site's policies apply.

2. What we do NOT collect

Peptide Scientists does not operate a checkout, a user account system, or a customer database. As a result, we never collect, store, or process any of the following:

  • Your name, shipping address, or billing address
  • Payment information (credit card, bank, wallet)
  • Phone numbers
  • Date of birth, health status, or medical information
  • Email addresses (we do not operate a newsletter or contact form)
  • User accounts, passwords, or login credentials
  • Order history or purchase records

If you make a purchase through one of our affiliate links, all of that data is collected by the destination merchant, not by us.

3. What we do collect

We collect a small amount of anonymous usage information, automatically, to understand how the site is used and to track affiliate referrals for commission attribution. Specifically:

  • Anonymous traffic analytics — pages visited, session duration, referrer URL, approximate location (country / region), device type, browser type, and operating system. This data is aggregated and cannot be tied to you personally.
  • Affiliate redirect events — when you click a product link, our redirect route (/out/<slug>) logs the product slug and appends our affiliate identifier to the destination URL. No personal data is attached to this event.
  • Technical error logs — if a page throws an error, our hosting provider may retain a log entry with the URL and error trace. These logs do not contain user input or identifiers.

4. Analytics provider

We use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-friendly traffic analytics tool built into our hosting platform. Vercel Analytics does not use persistent cookies, does not collect personal information, does not build cross-site user profiles, and does not share data with third-party advertising networks. IP addresses are hashed and discarded after session aggregation.

We do not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any other advertising-network pixel on this site. We do not participate in any cross-site ad targeting programs.

5. Cookies

Peptide Scientists itself sets no tracking cookies. The only first-party cookies you may encounter are technical cookies used by our hosting platform for performance (e.g., edge routing, font caching). These expire at the end of your session and contain no personal information.

When you click an outbound affiliate link, the destination merchant may set their own cookies to attribute the referral. Those cookies are governed by that merchant's privacy policy, not this one.

6. How affiliate links work

Every product "Buy" button on the site routes through our internal redirect path at peptidescientists.com/out/<slug>. This redirect resolves the destination URL from our catalog, appends our affiliate code, and then forwards you to the merchant. The redirect is server-side and instantaneous. It does not set a cookie on our domain, and no personal information is passed through the redirect.

The merchant may earn a commission for us if you subsequently complete a purchase. That commission does not change the price you pay.

7. Your rights

Because Peptide Scientists does not store personal information, most traditional privacy rights (access, deletion, correction of personal data) are not applicable to us — there is no personal record of you in our systems to access, delete, or correct.

You still have, and always will have, the following controls:

  • Disable analytics by enabling your browser's "Do Not Track" signal or by running a privacy-focused browser. Vercel Analytics honors Do Not Track and simply stops recording your session.
  • Clear cookies through your browser's privacy settings. No functionality on the site depends on any cookie we set.
  • Block outbound redirects by not clicking "Buy" links. Browsing editorial content, guides, product pages, and stacks requires zero tracking.
  • Exercise GDPR and CCPA rights against downstream merchants through their own privacy contact. If you purchased through one of our links, the merchant holds your personal data, not us.

8. Children's privacy

Peptide Scientists is not directed at children under 18. Research-peptide content is intended for informed adult readers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has somehow interacted with our site in a way that involves us holding their information, please contact us and we will delete any record we locate.

9. Data retention

Anonymous analytics events are retained by Vercel for the default analytics retention window (currently 90 days for detailed events, longer for aggregate roll-ups). We do not export, download, or persist these analytics beyond the provider's retention window.

10. Data storage and location

Our website is hosted on Vercel's global edge network. Static content is served from the nearest edge region to your location. We do not operate our own database or store any user-level data.

11. International users

The site is accessible globally. If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with specific data protection laws, the same policy applies — and given our minimal data collection, compliance is largely automatic.

12. Security

We serve the entire site over HTTPS. We do not handle payments, passwords, or personally identifying data of any kind, so there is no user-level database to breach on our end. If a security issue affects a page you visited, it would be limited to the technical infrastructure of our hosting provider, which maintains its own security posture.

13. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, post a notice on the homepage for at least 30 days. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.

14. Contact

For privacy questions specific to peptidescientists.com, contact us via the support channel listed on our About page. For questions about an order, shipment, return, or personal data held by the merchant, contact the merchant directly — they are the data controller for your purchase.

Summary in plain English

We don't take your name, address, email, phone number, or payment details, because we don't have a checkout or an account system. We count anonymous page views with a privacy-friendly analytics tool. When you click a "Buy" button, our redirect sends you to the merchant with our affiliate code attached. That's the full extent of our data footprint.
