Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: April 20, 2026

In one sentence

When you click a "Buy" button on this site and complete a purchase on our partner supplier's website, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. That's how we fund the editorial work.

1. What Peptide Scientists is

Peptide Scientists (peptidescientists.com) is an independent buying guide and editorial resource for research-grade peptides. We do not sell products directly. We do not operate a checkout, hold inventory, or ship orders. We publish product information, clinical citations, stacking guides, and calculators — and we link outbound to a single partner supplier where the actual commerce happens.

2. Who our partner is

Our partner supplier is Phiogen, a Reykjavík-based research peptide manufacturer. Phiogen publishes lot-specific certificates of analysis, runs ≥98% HPLC purity as its floor, and ships directly to customers in the United States. We vetted the supplier against purity claims, CoA auditability, and supply chain transparency before establishing the partnership.

All outbound "Buy" links on Peptide Scientists resolve to Phiogen product pages. We do not promote, review, or link to other research peptide vendors at this time.

3. How affiliate links work

Every "Buy" button on every product, stack, and article page routes through our internal redirect endpoint at peptidescientists.com/out/<product-slug>. That endpoint does three things, server-side:

  1. Resolves the product slug to the matching Phiogen URL.
  2. Appends our affiliate code (?ref=PEPS) so Phiogen can attribute your click to us.
  3. HTTP-redirects you to that Phiogen page.

The redirect is instantaneous. No cookies are set on our domain. No personal information is collected or passed. From the moment you land on Phiogen's site, you are governed by Phiogen's privacy policy and terms of service — not ours.

4. How we earn

If you click one of our outbound links and complete a purchase on Phiogen's checkout, we may receive a percentage commission on the order's value. The commission is paid by Phiogen out of their margin — it does not increase the price you pay. The rate varies by product category and is set by Phiogen, not by us.

Commissions are the sole revenue model for this site. We do not run display ads, sponsored posts, paid placements, pop-up affiliate widgets, or paid newsletter blasts. Every link on this site that drives revenue is an internal /out/<slug> affiliate redirect to Phiogen.

5. Editorial independence

Commission potential does not drive our editorial content. Specifically:

  • We write honest product pages, including noting side-effect profiles, discontinuation rates, and cases where one compound underperforms another.
  • We cite peer-reviewed studies on every product page regardless of whether the data flatters the compound.
  • Our stacking recommendations and calculators are built on published trial data, not on what would maximize basket size.
  • If a product in our catalog is ever withdrawn, has a quality issue, or is superseded by a better alternative, we will note that — even if doing so reduces commissionable clicks to the withdrawn product.

6. What you should do with this information

Knowing that we are compensated when you buy through our links, you can and should:

  • Treat product recommendations as editorial opinion, not unbiased consumer reports.
  • Cross-check claims against the cited peer-reviewed literature — we link every source.
  • Compare pricing and CoAs against other suppliers before purchasing. If you find a better price or a more transparent CoA elsewhere, buying elsewhere is the right call — our priority is that you buy from a vendor you trust, not specifically from ours.
  • Remember that "research use only" is the legal framing the entire niche operates under, and applies to anything you purchase through our links or otherwise.

7. FTC compliance

This disclosure is published in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255 Endorsement Guides, which require commercial relationships between publishers and vendors to be clearly and conspicuously disclosed. A short disclosure notice also appears in the footer of every page on this site and on any page containing affiliate-linked content.

8. If the partnership changes

If we add additional partner suppliers, switch to a different primary supplier, or discontinue the affiliate program entirely, we will update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. We will never surreptitiously insert a new affiliate relationship without updating this disclosure.

Quick summary

  • We're independent. Our only vendor partner is Phiogen.
  • Buy-button clicks go through /out/<slug> → Phiogen with our ?ref=PEPS code.
  • We earn commission on purchases — no cost increase to you.
  • Editorial recommendations are honest even when they cost us clicks.
  • No ads, no sponsored posts, no other monetization.
